As it turns out, loading all of the cheesy supreme pizza goodness into a flaky crust makes for one supremely delicious pot pie.

It’s certainly not the first pasta-pizza partnership we’ve tried, but we dare say—Lasagna Pizza might just be the best. 

  You know how as soon as you grow into a fully formed adult human, you realize that the best part of a delivery pizza is the part you’ve been foolishly tossing aside (for your parents to eventually graze on)? Well we decided to make up for lost years by making this cheesy stuffed crust ring, no pizza necessary. Of course, we all know the only thing better than a standard hand-tossed pizza crust is a stuffed crust. We flavored this cheesy ring of bready glory with a seasoning blend inspired by the masters—Domino’s—and served it up with a delicious blend of the two most perfect crust dipping sauces: ranch and marinara. Warm from the oven, this cheesy appetizer perfect for a Super Bowl party, or any other game day gathering. 

If you’ve ever found yourself wondering why more foods aren’t on the same level of richly beefy, cheesy, and savory divinity as a French dip sandwich—friend, you are not alone. In fact, that’s exactly why we channeled everything worth loving about the French dip experience into this meaty masterpiece of a pizza, complete with rich dipping jus. Deeply sweet onions and meaty roast beef are right at home leaning on a mild foundational flavor base of Swiss cheese and garlic powder in our new favorite example of sandwich-turned-pie. And a hearty, bready crust is just the vehicle these decadent elements require. 

 Savory, rich bacon and beef pair perfectly with beer, mustard, and red wine vinegar creating a well-rounded, complex flavor profile. The recipe comes together quickly and makes 16 cups--enough for 12 generous servings. Make sure to use low sodium beef broth to keep a balanced salt level. Serve with crusty bread, cornbread, or butter rolls. 

Deviled eggs are made even more savory with the addition of our garlicky, rich Perfect Roasted Beef Tenderloin.
